Mondo Bag
It works well with scraps of colorful strips cut up or a jelly roll
Supplies needed for the class:
The Mondo Bag pattern requires 192 2 ½” squares and 4 2 ½” strips for handles. The pattern also includes gridded stabilizer to make one bag.
Bag Lining 1 ¼ yard
Fusible Fleece 1 ¼ yard
(these supplies are available at MidSouth Sewing and Fabric)
A helpful tool to bring to class is a tube turner for the handles
Bring your sewing machine, regular sewing notions, scissors, and thread. A metal presser foot will provide the best results because some of the plastic feet drag on the interfacing.
If you want to finish the bag during class, please have the 2 ½” squares cut and ready to work with. This will save a tremendous amount of time.
The class is on Saturday, June 1. If we don’t finish the bag and you would like/need additional help, we will meet again on June 8.
